It is 2020. We are going through a worldwide pandemic. The world as we know has changed. People have lost their jobs; children are unable to go to school. Wearing a mask has become a norm. The roads have become quieter and clearer as there is less traffic on the roads now.
Those who are driving to work are finding that it is easier to commute. Fewer cars on the road mean the journey has become faster.
Now, imagine if you could do the same to the number of thoughts coming to your mind.
What would the benefit be if your thought count went from traffic jam to clear roads? What benefits could you get from that?
One of the keywords of this time is “essential”. Essential supplies, essential workers. Now use this process to your thought to see what are the essential thoughts necessary at this time? And then only have those thoughts.
Use the imagery of the empty roads and apply that to your thoughts process.
Do you want your mind to be clear and empty like the roads?
Two things to keep in mind for that:
- What are the essential thoughts needed? Only keep those in mind.
- For the tasks that need your thoughts, give it full attention and speed to complete it. Get to your destination faster.
With practice, your mind will become clear and calm, just like the roads at this time.
